How to Calm and Correct a Sudden Deep Tan

A deep tan may come as an unexpected outcome of too much basking in the sun. It could be an impromptu trip to the beach, a picnic party, or just a failure to reapply the sunscreen and your skin suddenly becomes dark. On the one hand, a sun-kissed look can be quite welcome, but on the other hand, being sun tanned more often implies skin tone unevenness, dehydration, sensitivity, or even the threat of permanent skin damage. Although most people panic when they take a sudden deep tan, there are measures you can adopt to safely reverse the color and restore your normal look.

 

 

The Science of a Tan Happening

Melanin is a pigment that is present in your skin, and when your skin gets struck by the sun, it makes more melanin as a means of defense against the UV damage. You should never use rough products or exfoliate too often so that you end up damaging your skin and not healing it instead. Give attention to moisturizing, nourishing, and protecting your skin daily. After patience and proper routine, your skin tone will be back, and even healthier and more radiant than ever!
